The information provided here should get you up to speed on items related to FTP. As a quick intro FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to grab various things from the Net and copy them directly to you home box. As to how its done in your particular setup... Well thats a bit beyond the scope of these pages. However you will find many useful pointers on how to download various shareware games and their levels.

A FAQ on this is under preperation and will be available soon. For now, let me say that uploads to to the /pub/idgames/incoming dir of ftp.cdrom.com and cannot be downloaded until an FTP maintainer has cleared your file. Contact your local Internet guru or Internet provider on how to use FTP.
