TechNet CD vs. TechNet WWW Edition

The TechNet Web home page structure mirrors the TechNet CD table of contents, and will be familiar to our users. The TechNet Web edition includes a few of the articles in each of the categories we publish each month on the CD. The Web edition does not include the full contents of Resource Kits, long technical articles, conference notes, or other large bodies of information available on the CD.
The topics located here are intended to provide you with current information on various Microsoft products, technologies, and information to help you support the computing needs of your organization. The TechNet group has worked to closely reproduce the structure of our TechNet CD-ROM subscription product in this forum. The CD-ROM product provides a superset of the information located here and additionally provides the convenience of a mobile, easily searchable information tool.
The Microsoft TechNet World Wide Web (WWW) site does not replace a TechNet CD subscription, but rather enhances and complements it by providing our subscribers with important, late breaking information that is easily downloaded and immediately useful.
