Euromicro is an organization of professional engineers and scientists, whose mission is to actively contribute to European progress in the fields of computational systems engineering: microelectronics, computer science and information technology. This mission is served by all professional means of promotion and dissemination of knowledge, information and skill. Euromicro is non-profit based, and relies heavily on the voluntary contributions of academics and practising professionals from all parts of the world. Nevertheless, it strives for high professionalism of its activities. The ethos of Euromicro is profoundly multinational, and the organization strives to maintain impartiality in international affairs. In serving its mission Euromicro cooperates with many other national and professional societies and organizations.
