Many academic departments at Bradley have their own specialized computer labs. However, Computing Services also maintains several labs for general use: Bradley 125, Bradley 329/300, Baker 153/154, and Library MIC (Microcomputer Information Center).
This lab is used primarily for Computer Science applications, but can be used by anyone. It contains 10 - 486 PC's with the following software:
These PC's have dot matrix printers. A few of them are on the ISN and have Kermit. Some of them also have International Relations Simulation.
Bradley 125 is open the following hours:
This lab is also used primarily for Computer Science. On the PC side (room 329), there are 20 NCR 486/33's with 8Mb RAM, connected to a Unix file server. These PC's can print to the line printer in room 330. The following software is available on those PC's:
Room 330 contains various older PC's and terminals, along with several Sun workstations:
Bradley 329/300 is open the following hours:
This lab is used primarily for College of Business applications. Room 153 contains 16 networked 486 PC's. Room 154 contains 12 networked 486 PC's and 20 AT&T WGS's which are not networked.
The following software is available on the 16 networked 486 PC's in 153 and on the 12 networked PC's in 154:The 20 non-networked AT&T WGS's in 154 contain the following software, for DOS:
A few of the non-networked PC's also have CPA Review. All the networked PC's (in room 153 and 154) can print to the HP Laserjet 4si in room 154. You need a copy card to get your printouts. Additionally, some of the non-networked PC's have dot matrix printers that can be used at no cost.
Baker 153/154 is open the following hours:
This lab contains AT&T PC's and Macintoshes, all of which are networked. The PC's can run the following software:
The Macintoshes can access the following software through the library file server:
In addition, some of the Macs also have Cricket Graph.
Laser printing is available for both PC's and Macintosh. You must have a copy card to use the laser printers.
The Library MIC is open the following hours:
