Netmar can help you setup your own World Wide Web Server on the Internet.
This is a machine dedicated to serving nothing but your own materials.
Connected to our internal network, the server is operated and maintained
by our staff, while the content is maintained by you. This gives you all
the advantages of having your own Web server with NONE of the headaches
involved with the administration a Unix system and it's connection to the
Internet.
You get:
- A Sun SparcStation 1+ w/ 16MB RAM & a 1080MB hard disk,
with the Solaris 2 Unix Operating System dedicated to your Web Services.
No one other than your staff or ours will be allowed to login to or store
data on the sytem unless you choose to allow it. (Netmar retains actual
ownership of the unit.)
- UNLIMITED DISK SPACE! Whenever your server exceeds 90%
of its available disk usage, we add a disk drive for FREE!
- Low Cost Internet Connection- A T1 line to your site can
cost anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 PER MONTH! We provide T1 connectivity for
your unit FREE as part of this package!
- A Fully Qualified Domainname. That means that you can
have your very own domain on the Internet. For instance, if your company's name
were "CompanyX," then your domainname could be "companyx.com."
That way, all of your email addresses end with your company's name
(i.e. person@companyx.com) instead of ours and your WWW address would
simply be http://companyx.com/.
- Maintenance by our staff. We will setup and maintain the system and
handle all the technical aspects of the system. We will even setup
user accounts for you if you wish.
- 50 Hours Free Technical Support by phone. If you have any problems
setting up your data or getting your Web services to work correctly, we
will provide 50 hours of free Phone Support.
- Unlimited Technical Support by email.
- Free listing in the Tarheel Mall. Any of the home pages on your system
can be listed as stores in the Tarheel Mall for FREE. This means that
not only do you get a Web server, but you get instant advertising.
- Weekly Statistics Reports. Every week, we will send you a report
detailing the usage of your server. Each and every HTTP (Web) request is
listed, showing the source, time, and file requested. The Report compiles
counts for each file requested and summaries for time intervals and requestors.
- Listing in over 100 WWW Directory Services. We'll list your
server's homepage in over 100 WWW directories and search engines aboslutely
free.
