I also lived for AGES in Kenya... back in 1980... there was no Aids 
scare then, and I was a frequent customer of brothels and street 
hookers. I went back there in August 1995 and found prices had 
increased 10 fold... it used to be 100 Kenya Shillings a go (for 
foreigners) now its more like 1000 Kshs a pop, but, yes, aids is now a 
great problem.
