International Symposium on Sustainable Development: The Twentieth Tom Slick World Peace Conference will address the question of sustainable development and its implications for world peace. This international symposium represents a timely opportunity to call attention to the relationship between sustainability and peace, and to reach a more complete understanding of the synergy between these two issues which the 1992 United Nations Conference in Rio has declared to be not only interdependent, but indivisible.
