ARM Linux - Software
If you wish to email me, please specify a subject line of ARM Linux.
Thanks.
Which programs are ported to run under ARM Linux?
Shells:
bash, tcsh and csh only at the moment.
Daemons:
Most network daemons, update (bdflush), syslog, printer daemons.
Mail and News:
Elm, sendmail and trn have been successfully compiled.
X:
X release 6 has been compiled, and is working. However, it requires at least
8MB to run decently. (Hopefully Atomwide can help!)
It has the entire part 1 of the X Consortium distribution compiled and working,
and has only been tested in 4MB though so the performance meters have not been
run.
Other:
Most of the standard utilities are running as well as the network commands.
GCC is running and linking with static libraries only until the Risc PC version
has been ported.
A complete list of binaries currently compiled (12th June) is
here.
