A home or classroom computer following on from the A3010. You still get the one box design that contains all you need to use the machine. No external bits other than a monitor, and of course the mouse.

The A3020 is equipped with two megabytes of memory which is expandable to four. A 1.6 Megabyte Floppy Disk Drive is included and an option for a 60 Megabyte internal hard drive.

You don‘t get the joystick interface or the TV interface, so you‘ll need a monitor to use this machine effectively. The A3020, however, is more expandable and comes with the optional facility to connect to either an Econet or Ethernet Local Area Network. Other peripherals such as scanners can be connected with the addition of an internal interface card. The A3020 also contains a mini podule expansion socket.

The A3020 is for the slightly more serious user and its LAN capability makes it an ideal starter for the classroom.
