We are dealers for the US Robotics range of high speed external and internal modems.

Please note that the fastest connection to our Internet service is currently V.34.

Software:
Please note that the software packaged with the below modems may not be suitable for connecting to the Internet, and the contents are controlled entirely by US Robotics and not Demon Internet.

Modems

WorldPort PCMCIA 2.0 V.34

V.22, V.22bis, V.32, V.32bis, V.42, V.42bis, V.34, Group 3 Class 2.0 Fax V.17 14,400 with WinFax Lite software for the PC.
Comes with special cable and CrossTalk software.
Note that this is a PCMCIA card suitable only for computers with a PCMCIA port.


Sportster

V.21, V.22, V.22bis, V.23, V.42 (error correction), V.42bis (compression including MNP/5), V.32 (9,600 bps full duplex), V.32bis (14,400 full duplex) also includes Group 3 Class 2.0 Fax V.17 14,400 with Fax software for the PC. (V.34 version includes V.FC 28,800. 115K DTE rate (serial connection speed between the computer and modem).


Sportster Internal

Details as for Sportster (this is the internal version for PC compatibles).

Macster

Details as for Sportster but with Apple Mac software (fax and communication) and modem cable included.
No PC software.


Courier (V.34) Dual Standard

Details as for Sportster but with speeds up to V.34/V.Fast 28,800. Also supports Class 2.0 Fax. 115K DTE rate (serial connection speed between the computer and modem). HST mode 16,800 is of use if you intend connecting to bulletin boards which may only have high speed modems of this type.

Delivery and Delivery Costs:


Next working delivery £11.50 for one modem, £2 each per each subsequent. Please note that this does not include Saturdays or Sundays or Bank Holidays and we must have your order by 12 noon to make that day's despatch. Apart from the collection at our offices, no other delivery method is available. If you cannot arrange for somebody to be at a credit card address, we can deliver to your work address - please ask.

If ordering a book, cable or card as well, you do not incur extra cost.
