Are you planning to visit the Museum with your class? Need advice on using our exhibitions or on teaching earth and life sciences? Then our Teachers' Centre is the essential place for you. You'll find helpful staff and a useful reference library of teaching materials. Opening times: Mon - Fri 11.30 - 14.00; First Sunday of the month:14.00 - 17.00.
Teachers are advised to to make a free preliminary visit to the Museum and the Teachers' Centre - just bring your union card or written confirmation from your school to gain free entrance. Call 0(1)71-938 8744 for details.
Pre-booked school and full-time student groups enjoy free admission. Other groups of 10 or more obtain reduced admission rates.

Our Discovery Centre is an exploratory exhibition for 7-11 year-olds. Children with special needs are welcome. Trained explainers help children enjoy natural objects and hands-on activities. Schools should arrange to use the facility by advance booking. Maximum 35 children per 45-minute session. To book a school visit, telephone 0(1)71-938 9090.
