ARM Linux - Supported Hardware
If you wish to email me, please specify a subject line of ARM Linux.
Thanks.
Block device drivers:
Hard disk (Image files/PC emulator partitions) and floppy disk drivers.
Character device drivers:
Console, keyboard, mouse, printer, pty and serial.
SCSI devices:
Linux now supports the Cumana 8/16-bit SCSI interface card and SCSI II
CD ROM drives (checked with a Sony CDU8003a). It has also been tested
with a 270MB SyQuest drive and should thus work with any fixed
hard disk as well.
Archimedes hardware:
Some Archimedes expansion cards are currently supported:
- The Serial Port dual serial card (Issue 2) is fully supported.
- Acorn MFM Winchester Harddrive card is not supported, but is
recognised.
- Cumana 8/16-bit SCSI card is recognised and now supported.
- Oak 16-bit SCSI card is recognised, but due to a lack of interrupts from
the board, it is not currently supported.
- Acorn/Atomwide/Ant Ether3 ethernet card supported.
The more cards that I can attach to my A5000, the greater the range of
hardware that Linux will be able to drive (if I have time!).
