A particular strength of the company is the design of microprocessor based systems where we have the ability to produce both hardware and software solutions. We are also in a position to increase our skill base by working with other respected specialist companies - for example to co-operate with networking specialists such as Ant Ltd.

Our experience covers both Intel 80X86 and Motorola 68XXX platforms as well as software design in both high and low level languages and embedded applications using microcontrollers.

We have been in this business for over nine years and have completed many sucessful product designs to date. In particular, we have a great deal of experience in the IBM PC compatible field where we have produced many designs for system boards, expansion cards, application software and utilities.

Design techniques used include digital logic design and use of programmable logic such as PALs and FPGA's to reduce on board part count, reducing cost and enhancing manufacturability of the product. We can also use our I.C. design facility ( see overleaf ) with great effect to cost-down large volume designs.

We specialise in providing a fast turnaround service at reasonable costs and can take a product right through from initial specification to mass production if required.

To date, most designs have been completed using our own in-house OrCAD schematic capture and CAE tools. However, if a customer has other requirements such as specific CAE tools or platforms, we can usually accomodate these.
