The UniTree Central File Manager (UCFM) provides productivity gains, cost savings and enhanced efficiency for the complex, distributed, multivendor and data intensive computing environment of the 90's.
When installed on a file server platform, and configured with appropriate storage peripherals, UCFM provides users with an apparently unlimited on-line storage capacity. Hence the product description, "The Virtual Disk System."
In its simplest form, UCFM provides a client/server architecture with a single, central file server and user access via standard NFS and FTP.
