The College of Agriculture and Home Economics prides itself on the number
of activities it sponsors and scholarships it provides as well as the
personal attention it gives to each of its students. An internationally
recognized faculty of over 170 offers a strong foundation in the
physical and biological sciences to students from 32 states and 43
foreign countries. Students can choose among 11 departments and 23
majors. Through its association with the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment
Station, the College is connected to three other campuses as well as
four research and extension centers and 10 branch stations strategically
located throughout the state. Graduates use the skills they acquire on the
farm, in industry, business, teaching, research and human development.
