The University of East Anglia is situated in a modern purpose built campus on the outskirts of Norwich, in the east of England. There is a movie of the campus in quicktime (2.8Mb) format. Only click on this if you know that you have a suitable viewer.
The university opened to students in 1963 and since then the student population has increased to 5000 undergraduates and 1500 postgraduates. UEA has made excellence one of its principal aims. The quality of UEA's research work has earned it a place as one of the top research universities in the UK, with 85% of academic staff working in Units rated either nationally or internationally outstanding.
