For compatibility, we mantain a GOPHER SERVER where we store plain documents in the usual hierarchical style. You could be interested on checking it too.

Currently in this WWW server you can find:

• Listings of DFTUZ preprints, including pointers to full documents if available.

• Some pages of interest for physicists, some pointers to other sites, and an hypertext frontend to our gopher side.

• Of course, our WWW lab. Not very big; it is not our main activity.

• Album, an archive of pictures showing the hard life of a physicist...

• Zaragoza University maps, an (small) archive of maps, useful if you don't know how to reach Zaragoza University.

• Nearest sites, a list of server near this (any other link is welcome), this means that from DFTUZ to any of the server in the list only national backbones are involved.

• Una olvidada seccion dedicada a la narrativa en general, con un poco de Garcia Marquez y algunos documentos sobre Manga y anime.

• An example of traffic statistics using SNMPv1. The method only takes a very small fraction of the bandwidth. The last week which is dayly updated (in Spanish, next time will be in English).
• Some lateral documents which are also archived in this machine, una propuesta de network que esta gestionando Cortes, etc...

The starting point of the University of Zaragoza is managed by the CCUZ.

Nosotros no somos el punto de enganche principal de la Universidad; este corresponde al CCUZ. El centro de calculo tambien mantiene un archivo de software publico via ftp.

ATENCION: Este www server incluye un cache

Notese que no soportamos ftp proxy. Para mirrors, ya esta ftp.unizar.es. Lo que hay que hacer es utilizarlo, y hacer que los administradores sepan lo que necesita cada departamento.

Nota del manager:

Despues de ver otros servidores WWW, os puede parecer que el nuestro es algo cutre. No es asi: en relalidad, nuestro servidor WWW es el mas cutre que he visto, y sin duda el peor presentado de todos los hispanicos. Esperamos con esto animar a mas gente a montar servidores WWW: no lo podeis hacer peor.
