Preliminary Determination of Epicenters (PDE) Monthly Listing

The PDE Monthly listing is a monthly publication that lists parameters (date, time, location, magnitude, number of stations used, geographic region, and comments) for all earthquakes located by the NEIC for a given month. An average month includes about 1500 events. The publication also includes additional source parameters, waveform plots for selected events with MB>=5.8, maps showing the locations of the earthquakes that occurred that month, and a map of focal mechanisms, computed for selected events. The January issue for each year also contains a listing of significant earthquakes of the previos year.
