The Academia has created one hundred forty works of art including thirty-three murals for the Los Angeles community. The students of the Academia have received seventeen awards and distinctions for their community work and are role models in their schools and communities.
The students of the Academia create museum quality large scale murals designed site specific for, and donated to, nonprofit organizations throughout the County of Los Angeles and beyond. The Academia encourages, promotes, and insists that its students maintain their formal education concurrently with their instruction at the Academia. Acceptance to the Academia is done on an ongoing basis during the year round art program.
The students of the Academia are established as the youngest patrons of the arts because their art works are created specifically for donation to the public. The students that complete the eight year instruction will be our next generation of artists, dedicated and morally obligated to promoting and perpetuating public art in their communities.
