BizNet offers services to both the local and global business communities. Actually, there is no longer a difference between the two.

The BEV affords Local businesses the opportunity to post free "business card listings" on the "BEV gopher". We build on this service to provide your business with enhanced, scalable services.

For the Global businesses, we offer the same services as the local folks, and you may get the enhanced service package with which you will be able to put up your own WWW or Gopher information. Optionally, we will provide you with a Full Time dedicated connection to the Internet on our site. See below for enhanced packages.

What's gopher?

Gopher is a tool that is accessible by anyone connected to the Internet, both through the BEV and any other connection. Information is posted in an organized hierarchy of menus and documents. We provide you virtually unlimited posting of information to this resource. Schedules, menus, prices, specials, coupons, catalogs, graphs, events, services, etc. can all be posted and updated very quickly. Your customers can set "bookmarks" and perform menu and text searches for quick access to your information.

How can e-mail help my business?

All participants in the BEV, and in the wider internet community, have an e-mail address. This allows you and your customers to establish and maintain direct, two-way contact. You can use e-mail effectively for customer support, questionnaires and surveys, handling product information requests, and accepting orders. We can help you develop and implement an effective e-mail strategy.

Can BizNet help my business in other ways?

Our staff includes experienced software engineers, network administrators, graphics artists, and instructors. We can provide single vendor solutions for your communication and networking needs to provide you with a quality, professional internet presence. We can arrange BEV accounts, internet connections (slip, ISDN, Ethernet) and take care of all the associated details for you. You get your own listing and gopher address on the BEV Gopher menu with as many documents as you like in a single menu hierarchy. You also get a home page on the World Wide Web (WWW) with graphics, text, and entry points to your gopher menu. We'll create your initial, single page, Home page. Additional longer documents incurs additional costs.

*Enhanced Services

Enhanced services are custom tailored for your business. If you need more menu levels, more WWW pages, frequent or regular changes to your postings, or other special services, we can supply them for you. This level of service supplies you an account on our server, which enables you to administer your own information via ftp and telnet. This way, your information is updated immediatly and you don't pay us for making changes.

For larger businesses, we offer your own machine connected to the net at 1.5mb with your own secure, proprietary information. Give us a call to discuss your requirements.
