The Computational Sciences Branch performs basic and applied research in
the areas of algorithm development, advanced analysis techniques, high
performance computing, modeling and simulation in support of the Naval
Aviation Systems TEAM and its mission in serving the Fleet. Our products
are innovative and novel solutions to our customers' needs and are
documented in publications in refereed journals, presentations
at conferences, patent disclosures, Technical Publications, Technical
Memoranda, seminars, and computer codes.
Our primary customer is the Fleet and its agents, including the Naval
Aviation Systems TEAM, Office of Naval Research, Advanced Research Projects
Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense Office, and other sponsors. At the same
time, we recgonize our responsibility to advance and improve the
knowledgesbases of those technical disciplines that we exploit for the
benefit of our customers.
Our primary asset is the people who are the Computational Science Branch.
Management of the Computational Sciences Branch is committed to creating an
environment in which our people have adequate resources to accomplish their
mission, including funding, computational resources, and the necessary
training for maintainance and enhancement of employee skills.
