The ARTFL Encyclopédie Project

The ARTFL Encyclopédie Project is entering the complete text of Diderot and d'Alembert's famous compendium of Enlightened knowledge, and will provide access to the text, hyperlink cross references, and links to all the plates of this great work. Here is a prototype of the ARTFL Encyclopédie for Mosaic 2.x clients. We are also experimenting with clickable images of Encyclopédie plates and linked legends. See Passementier and Art d'Ecrire.
