Washington D.C. (June 7, 1995) - The crop protection industry urged immediate
action on food safety reform legislation in testimony today before the U.S. House of
Representatives, Committee on Commerce, Subcommittee on Health and Environment. In the
testimony and news release, Jay J. Vroom,
President, American Crop Protection Association, calledn upon Congress to reform the nation's
pesticide law by implementing a "science based standard to assure that only the most up-to-date
methods undergrid our food supply."
