We at Best Internet Communcations are dedicated to being the best price / performance Internet service provider in the San Francisco bay area. We have designed and built a network that allows us to offer impressive and dependable connections at a cost well below what you might expect. Our basic service consists of a SLIP (standard or compressed) or PPP connection as well as a Unix shell account. The SLIP/PPP account is a true Internet connection with a permanent IP address and can be used for all incoming and outgoing standard Internet utilities.

We have adopted a philosophy that assumes the honesty and good intent of our customers and, as a consequence, have installed no firewalls or restricted Internet connectivity or services in any manner. All our modems are 28.8Kbps V.34 modems which provide excellent throughput and response times. We are multihomed with high-speed, low latency T1 connections to separate Internet backbones.
