The HPCC K-12 Program at NASA Langley was developed jointly by members of the Computational Aerosciences Office, the Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics Division, and the Office of Education at NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia and NASA Headquarters, Washington D.C.

Objective

The HPCC (High Performance Computing and Communications) K-12 education program developed at NASA Langley is a pilot program which focuses on enhancing the science and mathematics curriculum by transferring NASA's computational technology to the primary and secondary education area. This includes Internet access for K-12 students and teachers. The objectives of the program are:
