This server was installed to provide information about the Faculty of Computer Science and to provide an easy and convenient access to services in the Internet.

In the Faculty there are several committees: The Dekanat, the Fakultätsrat (FR), the Prüfungsausschuß (PA), the Unterrichtskommision (UK) and the Unterrichtsrechnergruppe (URG).

The faculty is structured into seven labs:

• Theoretische Informatik (TI): Theoretical Computer Science
• Künstliche Intelligenz (KI): Artificial Intelligence
• Datenbanken und Informationssysteme (DBIS): Databases and Information Systems
• Verteilte Systeme (VS): Distributed Systems
• Neuroinformatik (NI): Neuron Computing
• Programmiermethodik und Compilerbau (PM): Software Engineering and Compiler Construction
• Rechnerstrukturen (RS): Computer Architecture
