The School of Architecture and Planning focuses on the study and design of the human environment -- architectural, urban and electronic. Graduates of the school pursue careers in architectural design and teaching; in planning for neighborhoods and cities and remote rural areas; in real estate development for the public and private sectors; in politics as elected officials; in communications as researchers and producers developing the potential of electronic media; and in the arts as filmmakers and graphic designers with the latest computer tools at their command.
