At the heart of the LAMA lifestyle is the Mezzanine, a strong, lightweight platform that can be raised or lowered at the touch of a button. Available in a variety of standard sizes from forty two to eighty square feet, the Mezzanine may be equipped with telephone jacks, electrical receptacles, halogen lights and a remote control. The space can easily accommodate up to a king-size mattress, reading lights, a clock-radio, a small TV, books and magazines....everything that you would keep at your bedside. Custom models are available in larger sizes or that can be fully built-in concealing the platform until lowered.

An eight foot ceiling is all that is required. When raised, the Mezzanine fits snugly against the ceiling occupying a mere sixteen inches, and providing an ample six feet, eight inches of headroom below. The lower limit may be set to any level depending on the height of the underlying furniture and is easily adjusted as your needs change by repositioning the platform stops.

The Mezzanine is constructed of extruded aluminum and is coated with scratch- and chip- resistant epoxy for durability and ease of maintenance.

Complementing the LAMA lifestyle is the expanding line of modular furniture such as the round coffee table shown which will, at the touch of a remote control button, smoothly raise to dining room table height. They are available in a variety of materials such as glass, epoxy-coated aluminum and marble. The line includes a desk that may be raised or lowered to work seated or standing in optimal comfort and a TV / VCR table that can be raised, lowered and rotated, at the touch of a remote control to allow viewing from any position in the room or from the Mezzanine.
