Welcome to the LRC WWW server.
First off, our Charter
The charter of the Learning Resource Center staff is to establish and
maintain electronic classrooms for use by all faculty of NPS. This group
should procure and install operating system software and hardware
appropriate for operation of these centers. They will also procure and
install the applications specified by the departments teaching in these
centers. The group will provide consultation on use of the hardware and
software to faculty and staff teaching in the centers.
The LRC Mission
The mission of the Learning Resource Center is to provide functional
computer labs for instructional purposes in support of the Naval
Postgraduate School's mission to provide advanced professional studies.
To this end we are responsible for maintaining the equipment in these
labs (servers, micro-computers, workstations, software, and printers),
insuring the integrity of the local area networks that the labs are
utilizing, and providing E-mail [access] for academic personnel.
