Merit
Merit Network, Inc., is a non-profit consortium of state-supported
universities in Michigan which operates MichNet, Michigan's state-wide
research and education network. Since 1987, Merit has also held a
cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation under which
it has provided backbone services for NSFNET, the National Science
Foundation Network. This resource offers information about starting
out on the Internet, Merit resources, MichNet resources, the National
Science Foundation Network, and the National Information
Infrastructure.
