CyberQueers is currently located in Seattle Washington USA. Chapters are encouraged to open and operate anyplace. Red Square anyone? Soon the two Washingtons will be connected via CyberQueers. The first CQ group will probably spring up in the Washington DC. area. Watch for the news.
If you start a CyberQueers group you are you own and the direction you choose to go in will be your own. Each chapter if there are ever any will rule themselves. Keep it simple. But remember the key here is communication in any relationship.
Sparky's WWW site at http://cyberzine.org offers space to CyberQueers chapters that need a WWW space to offer their chapters information to the local and global Queer communitys.
A major goal at CyberQueers is to get a GLAIDS type of global network for Queers back up and running as soon as possible. The future network will be based loosely on the user friendliness Interface of the WWW World Wide Web. The Network will be graphical for SLIP users and text based for Lynx users. Like the old GLAIDS all the services of the Internet will be available.
GLAIDS future role will be much like that of AOL and Compuserve but will focus on LGBT AIDS oriented people places and things. Most anyone in the USA will be able to dial up and those with Telnet outside the USA will once again have access to the power and resources of this Queer interactive data communications CyberQueers revolution.
