Welcome to the MSU College of Engineering
World Wide Web Server

All use of College of Engineering and Case Center systems is governed by the MSU College of Engineering Computer Usage Policy.

Attention!

Two new WWW browsers are available for those of you using NCSA Mosaic on Case Center-managed Sun and HP Unix workstations. The current version of NCSA Mosaic, Version 2.4, has been superseded by NCSA Mosaic 2.5. The new version promises performance improvements and some new features. Through the end of Spring Semester, typing mosaic at the Unix command prompt will continue to invoke NCSA Mosaic 2.4. NCSA Mosaic 2.5 will become the default after that time. If you want to get started with Version 2.5 right away, type mosaic2.5.

The other WWW browser option available on Case Center systems is Netscape Navigator 1.0N, a commercial competitor from Netscape Communications. If you understand how to use NCSA Mosaic, Netscape Navigator will present no problems for you. You can run Netscape Navigator 1.0N by typing netscape. Which browser you use is a matter of personal preference. Use the browser which seems to work the best for you in your work environment.
