Welcome to the NEONS Distribution Center

NEONS, the Naval Environmental Operational Nowcasting System, provides the capability to manage oceanographic and meteorological data in near real- time. It is a software package that provides a set of tools to access, create and manage environmental data which is stored in a NEONS schema within a relational database.

The software was developed at NRL Monterey. It is free, and we encourage you to modify it for your own particular applications.
