Chemistry Department

Congratulation on your interest in chemistry and in the Jackson
State University Chemistry program.  Ours is a young, vibrant 
program concerned with the success of our students.  We are

committed to providing the facilities, instruction, services
and equipment necessary for our students to achieve their 
educational and career goals.

The department is comprised of fourteen faculty members that take
a genuine interest in their students, helping them define and 
reach their goals in chemistry.  The faculty encourages the 
students to participate in special programs which will 

further enhance their knowledge and advise them to attend
chemistry events & seminars.

Another outlook worth viewing in our Chemistry Department is 
the Current Trends In Computational Chemistry, which is an
annual conference. Plus it always interesting to know the latest
research projects.
