CyberNews Home Page
CyberNews is the brainchild of Richard Linton Ginn, a
communications major at Cornell. The goal and purpose of CyberNews is
global student-run media (print, radio, tv, etc...) connectivity. CyberNews
is a grassroots newswire on the Internet, implemented as a mailing list.
CyberNews has 2 e-mailing lists for the purpose of: 1. Sending
ready-to-publish articles to each other, and 2. Talking about
what we are doing with CyberNews.
CyberNews FTP Site
There is now a CyberNews ftp
site (cybernews.comm.cornell.edu).
CyberNews is part of the Global Student Newswire
project, a collection of Internet resources brought together by a group of
students devoted to the creation of a multimedia student news service on the
Internet. Member publications of the GSN receive contributed news,
features, and other similar documents through their electronic mail, and
have access to a wide range of other information resources through FTP,
World Wide Web, and other distribution and storage media.
