These documents appear best when browsed with any HTML 2.0-compatible browser [Netscape is an example. Here are two links to Netscape: Netscape info and download Netscape ]. HTML 2.0 and HTML 3.0 include improved formatting of text and graphics. If you use older browsers, type, graphics and the general layout may appear slightly different than intended though fully readable. Making your browser's window as wide as possible may also improve the appearance.
We used the Palatino font for our original layout. If you wish, and your browser supports it, you can set your text font to 12-point Palatino for optimum display. Any serif font like Times Roman also looks good.
We're packing a lot of articles and plenty of graphics this issue. If you are connecting via a 14,400 baud modem (or less), please be patient. If you are using Netscape or a browser with similar capability, you will be able to read the text while the graphics load. Enjoy!
If you are new to the Web, another strategy for slow modems is to set your browser's preferences to not load images automatically. That way you can decide to load the images manually if you wish. In Netscape and many other browsers you can also use the refresh or reload menu choices to clean up any pictures or text that may be lost during transmission over phone lines.
