Welcome to the DYLAN home page. You will find information on the Dylan(tm) language. In addition to the Dylan language specification, this includes any design notes released by Apple(tm). The design notes are important in that they correct, extend, and even replace some sections of the language specification.

  • The original Dylan language reference: annotated with design notes or without annotations. At one point in Dylan's history, Apple recorded the partial design of Dylan in this reference. Later, Apple updated this reference with design notes, which were official descriptions of new language features or corrections to the original reference.
