- The Ritual Of The Third Eye -

Welcome to the premiere issue of our new Web-zine, The Third Eye. Our intent is almost as obscure as our subject matter, but perhaps you'll be able to decipher some general theme out of this specific chaos. The Ritual is a good place to start.

We will be publishing on an extremely irregular basis, but the content will continue to evolve, so get back to us.

In this issue, you will surely find:

OF primary importance in this issue is the honourable mention for the new home of The Tragically Hip on the Web, designed by CIMtegration in Toronto. Lots of band info, pics and even sound clips, as well as links to the existing TTH online resources.

ALSO at the top of the list, our magical mysterious Mpeg mirror. None of those naughty X-rated clips, but we have lots of animated eye candy - everything from supermodels to space, borrowed from the infamous Netherlands connection.

TO continue delving into the wonderful world of multimedia, check out our Media-Phile for links to some WWW multimedia resources we have unearthed.

Fiction - New! Hot off the wires, a new story by Vancouver writer Jason Kurylo, entitled Baseball Sucks Anyways... . Over time, we hope to expand our fiction section into something of an on-line library. We will be including writing from many other sources in the very near future. Also, we will be showcasing a new collection of short stories by Andrew J. Wardle, entitled Grains Of Sand.

Art - Photographs and paintings by Michael Archibald (warning several thumbnail images). This section will also be enlarged, hopefully to include a number of local artists as well as (with luck) a showing or two from the Web community.

Zodiac - Authentic Zoroastrian Calender horoscopes from the tablets of the ancient scribe Ahkenut, the Really Tall and Wise.

Last but not least:

Links - a hotlist of sorts, including links of nearly every type and description. (NOTE: some of these links may be out of date, but we're trying).

Comments - comments, quips, complaints and general banter will be posted on our public comment board. Editorial letters to the editors are gladly accepted.
