Artificial Life Online

This online service is part of an experiment by MIT Press on ways in which electronic media can be used to broaden the range of services provided to intellectual communities over and above those provided by traditional paper journals. These services are a continuing experiment.

The Artificial Life Online service is intended to serve as a forum for the accumulation and dissemination of information about all aspects of the Artificial Life enterprise. The services provided here include an FTP site for making preprints and software available, a bibliographic database on Artificial Life, and discussion forums based on Usenet News.
