Situated on a spectacular site overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this new facility presents undersea creatures in realistic habitats, and allows visitors to experience the frontiers of marine science through interactive exhibits and participation in exciting educational activities.

From its very inception in 1903, Scripps Institution of Oceanography has maintained an aquarium and museum as a commitment to quality public science education.
