The SY2000 Initiative is a state-funded initiative with active involvement by district and school-level educators, parent, business persons, and students. Nine collaborating school districts provide representatives to the SY2000 Initiative Design Teams. The 12 Design Teams, the Public Schools Council, and the Policy Advisory Council provide the organization of the SY2000 Initiative. Background information on SY2000 is also available, as is an Information Packet.
