This page is meant as a tribute to the actress Meg Ryan, the woman dubbed "The Reigning Queen of Romantic Comedies" for her performances in such films as "When Harry Met Sally", "Sleepless in Seattle" and most recently "I.Q."
Why, you ask? Why should I go to the trouble to create and maintain this page? I suppose that one obvious answer is that Meg Ryan is a very attractive woman who can go from being "darn cute" to "drop dead sexy" in a heartbeat and that this is some sort of fan-boy crush type of thing...But that's not the reason ( Well, maybe it is part of the reason :-) )
Meg Ryan *is* a wonderful actress, however there are many talented actresses out there. What sets Meg Ryan apart from the others is that she, more so than any other actress today, has the ability to touch the romantic part of both men and women in a day where romance is in seemingly such short supply.
And I think that's pretty darn neat.
