Welcome to Active Access!
Active Access (currently still trading as a part of
Active Systems) is South
Africa's latest Internet provider.
Under (re)Construction
This site is currently being worked on. When finished, the "new
look" server should provide
our users with a thorough introduction to the
World Wide Web. In the
meantime, please mind the (slight) confusion! Many links may not point
where they're supposed to (yet!).
If you're using Netscape 1.1B1 or later, click
to see a sample of the type of look we'll eventually be aiming at.
-
- For those of you who are struggling to find your way on the Information
Superhighway...
-
- "The first cyberspace exhibition of African music and
art"
This great page has been created by one of our users. Spread the word!
-
- Netscape is just getting better all the time! This latest beta release
supports, amongst other things, the inclusion of tables and backdrops in
hypertext documents!
Where to go from here...
- More information about Active Access, including details about what
services we offer, and how you can subscribe to them.
- Comprehensive help for our users. (Coming soon!)
- Links to users' home pages. Yes, we're offering our users the
facility to put up their very own WWW pages! Here you can find out how to
do it, and find links to some of the pages set up by our users.
- This will soon be the site of the official #za IRC home page.
- Links to the home pages of the various
WWW browsers. This is a good place to look for ideas and new sites.
- The Active Systems
home page, maintained by Franscois Jooste.
And last, but not least:
So, keep watching this space. Things should start to happen... ummm... soon! ;-)
