Arizona Daily Wildcat

The Arizona Daily Wildcat is the student newspaper at the University of Arizona, published Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters with a circulation of 20,000. Its function is to disseminate news to the University of Arizona community and to encourage an exchange of ideas.

The Wildcat's news and editorial content is produced independently by students and is under the direction of the editor-in-chief. The Department of Student Publications provides publishing support. The Wildcat employs over 100 students in such areas as reporting and editing, advertising sales, classified advertising, circulation, accounting and production. It is a financially independent operation receiving no student fees or university budget.
