Pipeline 50 HX

Remote LAN Access - Telecommuting - Internet Access

The Pipeline 50 HX model connects Ethernet-based computers in small offices and homes to backbone networks over inexpensive ISDN lines. With the Pipeline 50 HX individual users gain access to corporate network resources and the Internet.

The Pipeline 50 HX differs from Ascend Pipeline 50 ISDN in that it supports one Ethernet-based user at a time, while the Pipeline 50 ISDN supports multiple Ethernet-based users.

In a single modem-sized box, the Pipeline 50 HX combines bandwidth on demand, an ISDN basic rate interface (BRI) terminal adapter, routing and bridging, LAN & WAN network management, and an optional built-in ISDN NT1 unit for direct connection to an ISDN BRI line..
