Windsurfing Guide to Houston and Galveston Bay
Texas has other places to windsurf besides Corpus Christi. The Houston and Galveston Bay area has a very large windsurfing population (up to 5000) and some oustanding windsurfing sites with excellent conditions. While in general the wind in Corpus Christi is more consistent, and Houston windsurfers make several pilgrimages to Corpus in the summer, out-of-state windsurfers visiting Houston on business or pleasure should consider taking advantage of some excellent local windsurfing. This guide is designed to familiarize the windsurfing community with windsurfing in Houston.
