Overview
Winserve uses Microsoft Windows NT Server 3.5 to provide an entirely new type of service to Windows users on the Internet. Use the familiar Windows point-and-click to attach net drives, send and receive MS Mail, and use MS Schedule+ -- over the Internet. Use the Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) to assist in connecting with other Windows machines on the Internet.
Winserve features:
- Dedicated file storage
- File sharing
- Microsoft Mail
- Microsoft Schedule+
- Windows Internet Name Service (WINS)
- Assignment of a Windows NT Server Client Access License
Connect a net drive to a secure, private file storage area on Winserve using the familiar File Manager or the "Network..." option in many popular Windows applications. Working from home and office is greatly simplified. Connect another net drive to a public file storage area for sharing files with other Winserve users.
Microsoft Mail/Schedule+ enables workgroup members to keep in touch around the clock, anywhere in the world. Files of any kind can be attached to messages and popular Windows applications can be used to launch messages.
Winserve is always available and can be reached from any point on the Internet.
