Getting the Harvest Software

Harvest server software currently runs only on UNIX machines (as detailed here), although you can access Harvest servers from any WWW client (including, for example, Macs and PCs). The Harvest server software is available from the following sites:

Australia (Canberra) - Australian Defence Force Academy
England (London) - Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine
France (Saint-Quentin en Yvelines) - EdelWeb
Germany (Karlsruhe) - Universitaet Karlsruhe
Japan (Tokyo) - Nippon Telegraph and Telephone
Sweden (Stockholm) - Swedish University Network
Thailand (Bangkok) - National Electronics and Computer Technology Center
USA (Boulder, Colorado) - University of Colorado
USA (Tucson, Arizona) - University of Arizona
USA (Washington, DC) - Internet Multicasting Service

These copies are set up so that they are never more than one day older than the University of Colorado "master" copy of the Harvest software.
