The NCCOSC In-Service Engineering East Detachment Norfolk Command was established on 13 January 1994 as part of the Navy's consolidation plan for field activities and is part of the NISE East Division of NCCOSC. NE Det Norfolk's areas of leadership include Command and Control Systems, Fleet Exterior Communications, Technical Data Management, Surface Electronic Warfare, Secure Voice Systems, and Shore Communications Systems.

Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM)

The AN/SSQ-88 (3.6 MB) technical manual is a DRAFT version created to show the benefits of an online IETM. To view the manual, you will need to download and install the the the IETM viewer (Windows version only) and setting it up in your browser configuration as a type 'image/nfo'.     The Navy Technical Manual Page is in the Navy Implementation of Raster Scanning/Navy Image File Format or NIRS/NIF. The EDMICS Engineering Drawing is in the EDMICS C4 format. You can download a Windows viewer for these formats by going to our ftp server and then downloading RV322.zip.
