The free access Internet database focused on:

  • Helping people in business and industry find training and development resources when, where, in the form, and by the providers that they choose

  • Providing a high visibility place where qualified providers and their excellent resources can easily be found.

    • Providers may now list their services

    Beginning in May of 1995, this free access database will help you find the following kinds of resources by qualified providers who guarantee their offerings:

  • public and on-site seminars, short courses, and certificate programs
  • industry conferences, expositions and symposiums
  • satellite presentations by recognized experts
  • executive education, continuing legal and medical education
  • continuing education and distance learning
  • computer, multimedia, video and print based training products
  • training authoring systems and other development products
  • training management and performance support systems
  • training related services, assessment tools, simulations
  • audio/visual aids, kiosks and training related equipment
  • training and conference facilities, satellite downlink facilities

    This database will begin with offerings by excellent U.S. providers, and will, over time, be expanded to include offerings from around the world. You will be able to search by general type of resource, subject, and location and date range where appropriate, and will be able to view and print detailed information about each offering and its provider. Eventually, you will also be able to apply, sign-up for and order, many of the offerings that appear here, while on-line.
